Regular events at Wave Hub

Great food at great value from 10am - 4pm.  Join us from midday for a delicious, healthy lunch made by our volunteers and our interns, or have a tea or coffee any time with cake made by our friends at CJ's Bakery.

Drop in any time from 1- 3:30pm for art in our dedicated Art Room.  Take part in group activity or try it on your own, guided and assisted by a local artist. 

All materials and equipment provided

Free participation - donations accepted

Join us from 10am-10:50am in the upstairs hall for "Fitness for All", led by local fitness trainer Jane Wrafter.  Free participation - donations accepted

 

Bring a water bottle and wear trainers

Join us from 11am-12pm in the upstairs hall for "Everybody Movement and Well-being", led by local fitness trainer Jane Wrafter. 

A mix of yoga, pilates, stretches and other exercises - every week is a different!

Free participation - donations accepted

Try your hand at knitting, stitching or crochet. 

1-4pm every week, in the main cafe area.  For all abilities - novice to expert.  Bring your own items  and we will get you started or give you ideas.

Free participation - but please buy something from the cafe

Meet at midday at the cafe every week for a lovely 1 mile walk before lunch, delivered in partnership with the Mason Foundation.

10:30am-12:30pm on the first Thursday every month, our signposting surgery offers general advice on the practicalities of living with learning disabilities.  Hosted by Wave Hub trustee, author and retired social worker Andy Merriman, who has personal experience as a parent of a child with Down's syndrome. 

 

No appointment needed - just drop in when you want.
